![]() This part of the question about previewing multiple images at once has not yet been addressed properly. What is a best way to view pictures (like you see images thumbnail in Nautilus) when you are working in the terminal ? Pho (pronounced like the first syllable in "photo") is a lightweight program for viewing large numbers of images quickly, rotating or deleting some, and making notes about what to do with each image - for instance, for going through hundreds of images after uploading them from a digital camera. Very fast if you want to look through a bunch of pictures, flag ones of interest, rotate, delete unwanted. Its quick loading individual images - hold down space and you fly through them. Space goes forward through list and backspace goes back. "$ pho img00?.jpg" will view all files that match in order. some others as well.Ĭan do wildcard globbing from command line: eg. Views many picture formats, gif and jpg for sure. Needs X, so call from command line in a terminal window. ![]() OP didn't really specify if they want X or fb viewer. Praise! This is an exemplary exception, because the Silkypix 9 version has been on the market for some time now.I just found this page, and it is still very relevant today. Ichikawa, the developer of Silkypix, has just released an update for version 8 with RAW support for the Sony HX99/HX95. But more updates with bug fixes and RAW support updates for the current version.Īdobe clearly offers the fastest RAW support for new cameras on LR and ACR, in my opinion. No, imho also does not offer Phase One updates for older versions. ![]() Is PhaseOne good about supporting older versions of Capture One, or would I have to keep upgrading to get bug fixes and new camera support? I am starting to test both, and since my current version of ACDSee supports my cameras, I don't have to migrate right away. I am thinking about moving to Capture One or darktable sometime this year. The software works fine for me, but I don't like that the company is slow to add camera support and it seems they don't add camera support or fixes to non-current software. I have ACDSee Ultimate 2018, which I use with an X-T20 and an X-A3. ![]()
